well done Lee, were the checkers reflective?

DOA for a doctors plate, he must have a sense of humour 🙄

My dad once sold a car and the number plate was 567 ANT. The customer whined and carried on cause he didn’t want people making fun of him with the plate ‘ANT’.

Dad reluctantly got the DMR to change the plate, so as the small minded little dweeb would stop moaning.

Guess what the new plate was …..’000 APE’

I think someone at the dept of main road was making a statement! 😮

    Hi

Had fun doing it. Peter Normington printed the checkers up for me – can’t remember what way round the colours went – I think the green was printed on to yellow Avery reflective.

The car supplier chose the number plate…..

    Hey Lee,

Do you have any problems getting vinyl to stick to wheel covers? If not can you tell me what brand you are using please?

I keep getting asked to do it and I keep turning people away because my Avery supplier and my Oracle supplier advise me against doing them as they cannot guarantee the vinyl coming off. 🙁

Nice job on the freelander by the way. 😀

    Hi Scozzie

Got the chevrons from PVL UK – http://www.pvluk.com for contact details. Dave Burton was very helpful. They came ready cut.

As far as the vinyl coming off, I think as long as they don’t put them through a car wash, there should no problem.

    Hope this helps
    Regards

    OK Thanks Lee,

I don’t think that’ll be a problem here – you have to have water for a car wash!
