    Nice job Richard!

Nice to see you guys pricing it, I calculated myself and came to £210,- and looking at your prices and comparing UK to NL I should go higher, let’s say £250-£275 I guess.
I am finding it very difficult to quote on these jobs (not enough experience).

Could you show how you came to these prices?

First figure that came into my head.

No seriously – generally a small van like this would be £160 – £200 + VAT. however this was a bit more complex than the typical example I would offer – Including lettering on the bonnet and a number of different colours. In practice I use a spreadsheet to price jobs based on the surface area being covered, the number of colours in the design and the amount of material used.

With experience you quickly recognise the amount of time involved in each job and can usually guestimate the price of a job quite accurately. For example if you target to turnover £500 a day (for two people working) and you reckon a job would take a full half day of your company’s time (2 people working on the job – Including design time) then you need to charge £250 for the work
