Apparrently Colin Mcray has one that stands at £120k.
Kev.
I dont usually divulge my charges in public, but this was straight forward stripes and a few names + union jack and sunstrip.
took me 3 hours start to finish £150+, reasonable I thought.
The customer is a regular and I do a lot of other stuff for him commercially, so he gets a bit of a favour for his own stuff.Peter

I take it that’s your new motor in the driveway Peter!
I remember someone saying they wouldn’t spend all that money on a new motor, they would rather rent one for the odd special occasion :lol1:
What happened did your accountant tell you to get rid of some money cause you’re earning too much! 😳

New motor John, I once said I woudnt have a car AND a van.
but the pickup is a business vehicle, I still dont have a car, but for me the pickup is more versatile. I will still hire a nice car for the weekend, if I fancy a bit of luxury. It is cheaper than having a years insurance and tax and depreceation just to use a car now and again.😀

sounds like hire car coming up soon then, for your week off to B/Ham & Scotland!
I suppose your going to say next that you 2 are too busy to letter it then!
If the truth were know it took us 3 months to letter our new van just to letter the back doors & bonnet, then another month for the near side & 6 weeks to find time to do the off side.
Why not design a print for the pick up ! I will print it for you cheap cheap, so long as you have saved those chocy bickies for the weekend.

quote John Simpson:Kev, I thought the same when i joined this site…..soon rectified it.
I think I will have to bud…It’s taking the step of doing it that frightens me.
-
I thought the same Kev but it surprised me when i put up the prices as customers never battered an eyelid.

John I did have some print ideas, but thought as I dont do print myself, I would do something in cut vinyl, with maybe a bit of edge stuff. but I agree, takes a long time to do your own thing…..

I actually scanned a Spitfire off a calender a couple of years back, for the ally sign on posts that i put up at the entrance to our model flying club field………..didn’t look to bad but if only i had known about these photo sites then.
I would love them Peter, they would look beautiful enlarged & mounted.
