Posted by Terry Beech on 20 March 2005 at 22:44what do you think of this? its one of our own vehicles, originally it was used as a deliverey van for our blinds division but was surplus to requirements so we thought we’d create a mobile blackspot. the model works in our blinds division. I took the photos ( thats why they’re a bit shaky) we’ve added the company name on the back and side doors since taking this picture. It certainly gets some looks driving round town[/img]

Nice one 😛
I would be interested to hear how many enquiries you get for signing up vans as a result of this.

Just to let you all know. We parked the van up in a lay by today on the main link road into town and left it their for most of the day. We had three enquiries today by phone from people who had seen the van. One of the guys that called asked our telephonist if she was the girl on the van! we promised he could meet her if we get his order.

Excellent, 3 enquiries in one day from parking the van in a prominent position.
That’s more fresh leads than we get from yellow pages in one day. It just goes to prove the value of a distinctive sign.
Next time some cheapskate grumbles about wanting to keep the price of his van livery within a tight budget I will relay this story to him 😀

I know. we run an advert in the local press each week for about £150 lets say you bought a brand new transit and wrapped it, it would cost a lot less than that and probably get the same results. At least we know it works. We were going to modify it slightly to read ” A Picture paints a thousand words” purely to push the digital side.
