Well not very exciting but this was a job that I grew a few grey hairs over…

I was let down by a supplier, who was going to produce kits for me to fit, but
they then decided that they were too busy to supply me within a fortnight, so
with alot of scalp scratching I decided to go with LG class 1 microlens as to the customers spec,
cut it ito 6" strips and fitted direct to the vehicle and trimmed.

mark, that would have been a hard job 😮 . you have done well.

chevrons are not the easiest thing to do at the best of times, but over this area and size, a good pat on the back is in order mate….. 😛

I know how difficult this can be to do. Looks a top quality job matey. Well done. Are the stripes butted or did you flood with red first?

We are having fun with chevrons at the moment legislation actually states that any vehicle that has to stop on the motorway has to have as much of the back as possible covered with "Orange/red retro reflective and flourescent yellow chevrons". More and more epeople are asking for this spec.

    Thanks for the comments,

As this is my first one, I was worried that I had made a hash of it.

I bought in the LG material at 1500mm wide and then cut it into 6" strips,
I then butted them up on the back of the van and trimmed,

This is how the fella came into me..

    Some customers……….

Nice Job! I just did the back of a Peugeot van but only lower half of each door. I used the LG and found it great to work with. I actually overlapped the strips as Iwas worried about shrinkage. Will posta piclater for you.

got asked to do 3 of these vehicles today – they sent us over the legal specs and picture (faxed not clear) mentioning flourescent yellow and red reflective striping

wheres the best place to buy such material and what costings per mtr

normally would use victory reflective but its cheap and nasty
