This is one I did Saturday morning, the owner/driver had the vinyls supplied, I was the only local sticker monkey that would work on a Saturday.
This is the biggest ‘van’ I’ve ever worked on…. it was huge 😮

It’s a Merc Sprinter 4025, over 6 mts long, is this the longest van on UK roads at the moment?

    Cheers gang,

    Steve

    Hi Chris,
you may be right, the owner of the van told me he had looked at the Iveco as well, I spotted this disgruntled Iveco owner in the paper this morning, 👿
He isn’t happy with all the problems he’s had with the van so he spent “£50 getting the sign, six inches high & in capital letters, painted on the side of the van” (do you think that’s both sides?) 😕

    Cheers, Steve

    Hi Carrie,
it’s not the size that matters, it’s how ….. many customers it’ll satisfy 😉 😉
(sorry Carrie, I’m trying to be cheeky like Jill, she’s a bit ‘busy’ at the mo otherwise I’m sure she would have been in there like a shot 😳 )

I don’t mind working some weekends, at least the phone dosen’t ring 🙄 …. I then grab the odd half day off during the week. Well.. that’s the plan…

    Cheers, Steve 😎

That geezer was on the local news tonight, and it is a massive van. The newsreader said he painted it on but it looked like vinyl. Apparently he’s spent about 9000000000 quid on repairs in 4 years.

Anyway, I do Sprinters for a local courier company: 32 metres of vinyl per van! Huge great things.

I’ve turned down a couple of fitting only jobs like this. One of them wanted me to spend at least 2 hours per van for 35 squids. Am I being greedy?

great work mate.. good thing about doing a van this big, you know you have done the biggest now, so all the rest will seem much easier 😉

now i bet you didnt even need steps for fitting that mate… maybe on your tip-toes when doing the roof part at the rear :lol1:

i was gonna go in with a smutty remark too, but i thought no! im not lowering the standards of this site, ill leave that for phil fenton and his lorraine kelly pictures :lol1: :lol1: :lol1:

great work mate.. keep them coming 😉

    Thanks for the comments team,

Hey Rob even I needed steps for this job 😀

I’ve got a very old pair of 3′ wooden steps held together with old rope & paint and I was balancing on the top of these more than once doing this van 😕
The worst bit was the logo above the windscreen, it would have been easier to climb onto the roof & hang over the front to apply that bugger! 👿

    Cheers, Steve
