    Sign Language Ltd is one of the UK’s premier suppliers of vehicle branding to the commercial fleet market. Our graphics can be seen applied to the vehicles of numerous blue chip organisations as well as SME’s enabling them to promote their brand whilst travelling the UK’s road network.

    As part of a company expansion plan we are now seeking a new fitter to further enhance our fitting team.
    Candidate Criteria.

    This position will suit an enthusiastic and determined individual looking to further a career in livery application.

    Your duties will include:
    • Responsible for day to day control of the fitting function, including fitting staff and the application of graphics and signage on – and off- site to the standards set by the company.
    • Responsible for delivering fitting targets to the highest quality level.
    • Ensure compliance to health and safety, environmental legislation, company policy and procedures.
    • Work hours necessary for the role as agreed by manager.
    • Maintain effective communication and reporting between all departments, with particular importance to information required by production department. To include team meetings – daily or weekly as required.
    • Internal paper chase throughout the fitting process. To include collection of timings and costings data, photos and measurements for fitting.
    • Site visits, fleet audits and vehicle surveys.
    • Ensuring correct tools and consumables are present both for job in hand.
    • Liaise with customers on progress with particular emphasis to off-site work.
    • Responsible for approving all off-site fitting prior to customer sign off.
    • Resolving and reporting on production and fitting issues.
    • Ensuring company vehicles are kept safe and tidy at all times.
    • Responsible for maintaining a clean, safe and tidy environment on – and off-site.
    • Liaising with Account Services (Logistics) Manager for training of fitting staff.

    • Demonstrate a logical thought process
    • Demonstrate problem solving capabilities.
    • Demonstrate mentoring and training capabilities to trainee fitters
    • Be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills
    • Be computer savvy
    • Be able to work in a high-pressure environment
    • Be able to demonstrate a strong telephone technique

    Starting salary negotiable dependant on experience
