Vehcile Graphics: Vauxhall Astra Car
a while back i realised i was getting fewer "hello… just got your number from your car" phone calls, so, i buy xtra stock, doh….. shortly after buying the materials to sticky my isuzu 4×4, i discovered it needed welding that was beyond my average skills, so the trooper goes into the garage (my bro’s boss,), with the promise i’ll soon have it back with a new mot, in return for doing a couple of his trucks…. bargain !!
in the meantime he loaned me a high mileage pile of poo asstra, a missfiring 1.4ltr asstra to make it worserer, great,……….
hmmmm, that was 10 weeks ago 🙁 every week i get the same "it’l be done next week mate…we’re too busy on the trucks right now"
so this morning i awake at 7am with an itchy scalpel and half an idea of what to do with my morning, by half eight i was headng to the workshop, by 1pm i’d successfully wasted loads of good film on a crappy car, it’s far from perfect and i’ll probably have to strip it all when my trooper finally gets done, not sure how the owner will take seeing it, it was freshly valeted and sat on his car lot when i took it oh well……its cheered me up anyways !
constructive crit if you wish too, though i think i can see the mistake… no measuring…. no time taken….. rainbow chrome isnt meant to wrap door handles……nor is 651….. etc
good example of how not to do most things !

Hugh this looks like you had nothing to do today with want for a better way of putting things i personally think its far to boy racer !
however i know you do lots to do with racing so may be it works for the kind of people you work for and the use of different vinyl will get so lookshope you take it in a nice way

no probs Rich, i did start off with the toca astra 888 i did earlier this year as a template for the layout, so i guess it was bound to look a bit boy’d up ! i don’t relish doing curvy cars (ie most modern stuff), compound curves etc, so try and avoid it where poss, this wasn’t three bad though !

i think it looks quite good for a temp job, its advertising isnt it, thats the main thing.
