I realise this is an old thread but for future reference, Smart Fill in Corel would do this very quickly and with probably less clean-up than trace. 🙂

I’ve just tried to use that Smart Fill function, as I was interested to use it in future. But couldn’t do it with the above logo, it just drew a square around the image 😳
