  • vector of crown needed urgently!

Posted by Lorraine Clinch on 1 December 2005 at 13:27

Hi all, I’ve got a rush job on, to be completed for this Saturday, our local Brass Band is having a trailer delivered today, (courtesy of lottery funding) and need graphics of the ‘Royal’ crown, (as attatched Jpeg)

I am vectorising it at the moment, but is taking ages, as it’s from the customers drawing, so wondered if anyone has something I can use which is similar?

They also want some other images vectored & cut, which also are going to take an age, otherwise I wouldn’t ask.

I would be really grateful if you can help. (who said I was quiet at the moment!)

    Cheers

    Lorraine

If you have the time Paul, that would be really kind. How can you do it so quickly though?

I did a bit, took me ages! 😳

Many thanks Paul, I definitely owe you a pint or three!

    Saved me hours you have.
So, how did you do it so quickly? What software do you use?

Thanks Peter for your help also.

Carrie, I cannot describe how grateful I am to Paul for his help yesterday.

As the job was for the Town band, I did not want to be making a profit out of them, I just charged the vinyl cost, and yet I was here until gone 7pm last night, because of that job. If Paul had not helped out, I would have been here much longer.

As it is, the stuffs been collected & is being applied today, ready for the band’s debut performance in their new mobile bandstand tomorrow (on Tesco’s car park, of course!)

I found a photo (not the best) of the mobile bandstand on their web-site, thought I would share it, as Paul had helped me out so generously (seems like a long while ago now-nearly Christmas again!)
