Best thing you can do Tony is purchase the Impacts Vehicle Outline cd, has all the up to date vehicles and you get free updates for 12 months well worth the money http://www.impactgs.co.uk. Speak to Brian Hays he is a member of the forum, and may even give you some discount.

    Cheers

    Dave

Hi Tony, welcome aboard mate & thanks for the comments.. 😀
Dave’s right, the best thing to do is purchase the software.
Brian has currently offering it at a special discount, so its better to strike while the irons hot 😉 i have just received my own and there is tons of vehicles on it.. Every kind you can imagine. Some very handy one for us is the JCB diggers and Taxis..
You will be able to get all types of help and advice from this site. Totally free at that.. Anything you do pay for is cheaper than anywhere else anyway, so you cant go wrong.
I’m biased of course, but ask around. You will quickly find out im not exaggerating. 😉

Hi and Welcome Tony, you will find this is the best Signmakers site for sure 😉 I think the link Dave gave you was meant to be http://www.impactgs.co.uk for Brians site 😀 As the others have said, I use this Cd and it has paid for itself time and time again – well worth it mate.

Whats your background in the trade, or are you completely new and in at the deep end ?

In a more detailed answer to your question there were some file swapping of outlines being done one here and the general consencus was (Quite rightly I might add) that this was an infringement on some peoples work.
In an earlier post Brian stated that he might help people out with occaisional outlines etc due entirely to his generosity.

After all this is his job and he can’t give to much away or there wouldn’t be an outline CD in the first place.

Hope this clears up your info for you

    Goop.

    Well said Forbie 😉

Dave, I think you put “compactgs.co.uk” or something like that !!
Understandable as the “I” and the “C” are so close together on the keyboard 😉 ….. Sorry I’m trying to make an effort to be LESS sarcastic but it’s just not happening !

    Hi Dave,

Answer to your question are we new to vehicle livery, answer. Yep..! well ….ish.

Primarily we are an exhibition stand design and build company that were sourcing a lot of graphics in, So two years ago and a bit, we invested in a Plotter, Graphic Designer and kept the work in-house.

Parallel to this we specialise in clothing decoration, and have embroidery and clothing print facilities. We are a distributor for Uneek brand to which we sell trade as well as end user. This area was formed because of the cross marketing with the exhibiton scene.

Anyway that’s enough of the sales pitch.. Thanks for the replies guys, I kind of knew what was coming. I have contacted your recommendation and I am awaiting their reply.

    Cheers
