I really like ‘First Cafes’, but personally the Madge Simpson hairdo is my favourite :lol1:

    Thanks all,

Lynn, the holographic vinyl was only guaranteed for 6 months but the customer really wanted it. It hasn’t lasted too well which is why you couldn’t see the effect. The photo was taken about two years after fitting. The chap who had this done has since sold on the business – see Ben’s limo wrap recently for the new owner’s take on vehicle signage (a cut above methinks)

I copped out of making the letters for First Cafes, got Westward Plastics of Bristol to router them out of black alipanel in kit form and then I riveted them to the cladding and stuck on silver Oracal 651 over the top to create the shadow/outline and to cover the rivets.

I rarely find myself having total control of the design of a sign, I sat down and thought about it and realised that most of the time I’m copying an existing design or matching letterheads etc. Still, pays the bills so what the heck! One day, one day…
