Posted by gordon bradshaw on 2 April 2007 at 22:51just got back from a trip and was amazed to see a large (6`x4`) hanging sign i painted in a pub still up there !! the lettering was as clear as day , but the ply was completely knackered . i think the guy paid £30 if i remember right , after 22 years !! i think he`s had his moneys worth :lol1:

you should pop back in and see if he need’s it redoing !

i dont live anywhere near him now or i would , he`s so mean he prob thinks its got a few years left in it yet :lol1: was away visiting family so i didnt have my camera but it would be worth the 140 mile trip just to get a pic and show how rough the board is , its absolutely rotten , all the layers of ply can be seen like a huge fan along the bottom edge

when i think about it , it`s actually more like 26 years old , thats prob older than some of you guys :lol1:

Mind you 26 years ago I was quite happy in the Royal Navy and never thought I would be doing something like this one day.
