    Hi All,
what should i know about fitting window film to shop windows. Is it worth getting someone else to do it – as i never have – or will it be straight forward. Also, is it a 2 person job. Windows are bigger than my arm span and also have the alarm foil strips in the middle.

    100% with Cheryl.

Window graphics/frosted easy day to day stuff.

How many vinyl fitters won’t touch car tints?

It is a bum to fit and best left to those who specialise in it!

Matt (fitter by trade wrapping over 10 yrs etc..)

If you haven’t done it before mate…Run away!!!

It’s a very specialised area of installation. It’s easy to stuff up and it’ll cost you to re do.

I’ve been tinting for the past 27ish years and still stuff up the occasional window. (rarely ;-))

If you want to have a crack at it, then by all means get some film from a supplier and have a go. Give me a PM before you do it and i’ll give you a quick run down if it’ll help. Don’t learn on a customer’s job though.
