Posted by Martin Armitage on 21 February 2008 at 11:54

    Hi,
I have been sent files and logos that require a particular font wich has been supplied as a postscript version, i have downloaded the Adobe Type Manager, but cannot seem to find a way of using these fonts, I cannot install into the fonts file, am I missing something here. Can anyone help please? I need to use within Coreldraw or Omega, and am running windows.

    Tim,
Both Windows 98 and XP, the font types are .afm and .pfb.

XP can use postscript fonts direct without ATM.

In 98 under settings in ATM you can switch it on and off but you have to re-boot for changes to take effect.

PFB is the font outline, afm font metrics.

In ATM you should be able to browse for fonts and install.

    Tim.
