URGENT HELP WITH CANON W8200/W8400 PGHi I have a Canon W8200pg printer and my yellow tank has ran out. I ordered a new one and i have just found out its for the Canon W8400pg This tank will fit if i cut some plastic tabs off, the company i bought from have said that the ink is different as it has a different gamut. She said i may experience slight colour/shade changes but these are not a problem. What she could not tell me is if the w8400 ink is a totally different substance from my usual w8200 ink, and if it would damage the printer in any way. Anyone got any advice? i will try it unless someone can confirm it will be ok, not going to give it a whirl to see wwhat happens. here is a picture of the tabs that can be cut off quite easily with a craft knife. the tank on the left is fits and the one on the right needs 2 tabs cutting Unless anyone in Sheffield/rotherham can sell me one. thanks[/img] 😉
