    Hi,

Have to print some 20 of 1×1.2 meter backlit posters for led lightbox, and the ink just wet when finished even after ten minutes of laying. What can be done? We have to finish this tonight.

Try a different profile, I find oracal 3164 is a good one when drying on media is a problem. Failing that put a halogen heater in front of the printer to dry the prints as they come off the machine

    Hi Andy,

    Thanks for your help.
    Guess I’ve found a solution.
I’ve put a big (26") fan in front of the print (put it on the table with weight on all edges). 3 minutes and it is doesn’t seem wet to touch. Now the question if I can put one on the other.

Dont risk it Adam, I’ve been there and thought its been dry and when I’ve tried to seperate the prints they’ve been stuck together.

    yep…re-wetting can be a problem

Prints feel touch dry on the surface but effectively they’ve just got a thin skin on them….placing something on top of them prevents the solvents from escaping which then re-wets the surface and you end up with all kinds of problems
