Don’t want to connect the workshop computer to internet….and I want to install Word on it….however when I try…the XP computer tells me that the version of Windows needs updating. Any way to do that without connecting to Internet?
Remember: I usually need diagrams and photo’s with circles and arrows to do things computery! 😀

You would need to get the service packs on CD and install the updates

If you search the MS site, you can find the offline installer for them.
(ISO files to burn to CD)

Or just plug it in to the network for a few hours :p

Don’t forget to put a condom on before you plug it in 😀
