it may be but I wouldn’t sell it for a penny less so it is worth £14,999 to me. Really not bothered about selling it as I do like it a lot but if I can get £15k for it I would and if not I am more than happy to keep it(it used to get me away with a lot of parking tickets as they would write signs, that was until they started taking photos of the plates lol) Cheers

DVLA always the best place to start looking but prices haved jumped from some years ago.
Just looked, S1 GNS is valued around £38,000 so maybe S1 CNS is not a million miles away at 15k,
It’s like everything else though, they are only worth what someone else is prepared to pay for it.

the reg on my car is 85 LH, brought at dvla auction for just under £6k, went back to another auction and tried to buy 86 LH, i stopped bidding at £7k and it went well beyond that, just depends on the day!

I have 3 of my own – F31STY R3VVV and NG 51GNS for the business, all purchased for very little compared to their value now , but agree with Martin, only worth what someone is prepared to pay

When i sold up the business (UK Signs Plus), the people who brought it put a van on the road with the plate UK 51GNS everyone though they had just made the plate up for show, don’t know what it cost.

I bought AB 51 GNS a few years ago from the DVLA, £800 (Absolute Signs). I’ve always abbreviated it to Ab Signs anyway 😆
