Uncaring supplier
I ordered 2 double sided printed drop banners from a well known Banner company (S43 postcode). Detailed drawing & measurements were supplied but on fitting they came up short requiring new stainless mountings to be made up and a return visit to site.
Does this company care? It seems not. Not a comment. Not a sorry. Nothing, after 2 emails and a phone call.
So much for customer service.Miffed to say the least. (:)

We had a delivery of a trough light last week only to find the tube smashed.
Phoned supplier and response was:
"oh we get this all the time and sorry we can’t send new one out or reimburse you as it’s the couriers fault"
So I have to go and buy new one and clean out the mess at my own cost?
"Yes"

John, is it not down to them to chase the courier for damaged goods? if this happens a lot I would have thought they would supply the lights without tubes fitted, or maybe they supply them all with smashed tubes to make some extra money & just blame the courier :lol1: :lol1:

RE trough lights
yes we get this all the time, they never get it when I say please can you pack the tubes on their own next time please ! which turn up NEVER BROKEN its only when the long length of lighting get dropped the tubes go, so why not pack them as you do when I call to say the tubes inside the fitting are broken ahhhhhhhhhhhh, its the dust and glass that take ages to clean out !!!!!!!!!!!
