Ultra sticky vinyl

Can anyone suggest where I get printable vinyl which will adhere to plastic signboards? Normal vinyls peel off, but I don’t really want to pay RHG’s £550 price tag for a full roll, and they wont sell in smaller quantities.

Cheapest is the 4 year VCR3000WG1 760 wide x 5m £16.24
Next is the 8 year VCR200WG1 760 wide x 5m £19.58

I use Hexis all the time and their service is first rate.

we have used the hexis high tac vinyl, printed Ok on the mimaki.

Hi,
I also would highly recommend Hexis vinyl film..
We used it to stick to a opal polyprop sheet.
Stuck like S**t (opps, sorry for swearing!)
Printed Great Too…

😳 Sorry Peter, have been off line most of the weekend.
I only had a couple of feet of red to cut for a plastic a-board, so in the end (the customer was shouting) used normal vinyl (and took the risk), but will be ordering from Hexis
this week so I have some in stock, just need to get a decent enough order together first, so thank you to everyone who has answered.

Lorraine, we use SupaGrip IP2532 from Spandex. Very sticky.

Great to print on too.

LG3888 from All print, sell by the meter but more expensive then normal vinyl… did u say coloured then ignore me

WW300 from Amari’s prints really well on our JV3 & nice to fit as well.

Hi everyone, thanks for the supplier references. I just wish that Robert Horne had an ultra-tack vinyl, as I need some vinyl from them. Considering the range RH has, I would have assumed they would carry something similar.

Well, I placed an order yesterday, and asked again about an ultra-tack vinyl. This time I was told that they DID have one, but for cutting only. Comes in roll or sheet format, so ordered 2 sheets (fits my machine better, roll is 1000mm x 50m or less, or sheet size 1000mm x 700mm)
When delivered today, -be aware you pay a split-pack fee of +£5 or take 100 sheets – the backing paper states it is digital ultra tack, so bonus, it can be printed & cut too!

So pleased, as it is so much easier to keep to one supplier.

Hi Lorraine,

For training purposes only let me know who you spoke to and il educate them, we do LG Ultra tack in 1370mm monomeric and both 3951 HT and MPI1900 Apolar all digital print grades as well as rolls in 1260mm wide of Oracal 1640GHT and 1680 which can be re reeled down.
I know customer who print them all for various applications.

they will be in the Digital brochure which you should have had.

i tried to purchase LG Ultra tack from RH before & was told you do not stock it (actually had the local rep in). I needed approx 25 rolls over a 18 month contract for the Olympic Village and had to go to APS. I am also having grief getting LG laminates when i call you are always out of stock so again i am forced to go to APS. RH is my preferred supplier but it is getting increasingly harder to warrant purchasing from you. Hope you can shed some light on the matter.

Who is your rep and I’ll check it out on Monday and let him know and get in touch, stock outs have been poor but we have Oracal alternatives that could maybe be us

No other way of letting you know, we have 93 rolls of LG Ultra tack 1370mm wide in stock and various laminates although not all.

cheers for the update, i believe the Ultra Tack is a recent addition i inquired over a year ago. Ordered the LG laminates today, could have only just come into stock as i had only tried to order it the other week. As i stated earlier RH is my preferred supplier but it is a pain when they are out of stock of every day stuff like Laminates & board. Swapping between brands is not something i like doing because its hard to know what product as been used if problems occur later on

I appreciate what you are saying, you will be pleased to know we are investing in more warehouse space ans have ordered over £1 million extra stock of those " we should never be out of " items.

Am sure we will still get caught out but hopefully not so often !!
