Hi all , just wondering if anyone has had any experience with Xpres Ultra Cut T-shirt vinyl ? I’ve just recieved a small sample, it weeded/pressed well doing a small logo – just wondering if anyone has done larger areas of logo/text with it or done a wash test ?

    thanks in advance

I’ve done quite a few shirts, the stuff washes well,
One guy tees i’ve done has had them for over a year and he says they still look like new

I am not familiar with the particular brand that you are using, but I have often used Stahls CAD-CUT heat transfer material for vinyl plotters and have been very happy with the results. I made some test shirts for myself which have been washed dozens of times and the material still looks great, and it almost looks screen printed. The material is perfect for short run appearel jobs and a great alternative to sublimination when you need to print on a dark shirt. Good luck!

I use Xpres, but I’ve never used the Ultracut. I’ve always used Superflex, and had no problems with it. I don’t know what the difference is between the two though….(can anyone tell me??!)

Hi Ali – the Ultra Cut has a very sticky & almost clear backing + Its thinner than the super flex. It’s great stuff to work with 🙂
