Brian,
step 1.
download file to desktop.
step 2.
right click on downloaded font and click cut.
step 3.
open windows explorer and go to c:\windows then open FONTS folder.
step 4. right click in a space and select paste.
step 5.
font installed on system.
step 6.
launch signlab 4.95.
step 7.
launch text compose, select browse and select type of font i.e. vef, wfn or the one you want TTF.
this should help you, althogh Dave R might have a quicker way to do it 😉

You can also convert ttf and pfb fonts to VEF if you want to edit the kerning.

I seem to be having a problem getting any font into SL unless putting it on C drive, THEN into MyFonts THEN into Signlab. It wont go without the MyFonts bit. Is this coz I have MyFonts on the comp I wonder? (Using SL 5)

The font has to be registered with Windows, which is what Myfont is doing. You could also register with Fonts in control Panel.

Knew I had to be doing something! Might as well stay with MyFonts then, I guess…

no idea about SL or MyFonts.
As Andy says:-
1: Press “Start” then “Run…”
2: Type FONTS into the dialog box
3: Find your TTF font (desktop or wherever you left it)
4: Drag into the new Font window.😀 😀
