Hi there, can some kind person remind me of who can supply aluminium trim to fabricate a double sided light box, I am sure I have seen it linked to the tool bar but for the life of me cannot seem to locate it, cheers in advance

depending on your chop saw you will use for mitres, remember some extrusion’s might not fit in the throat of your saw. just mentioning as i remember many years ago before slimline extrusions and the like came about we bought a pile of the stuff in to do our own boxes and our chop saw throat would take the extrusion. 😕 :lol1:

Very good point, I use a couple but will check the clearances before ordering, will probably try a get a few off cut samples. Thanks again

If you have a compound mitre saw then there shouldn’t be to much of a problem Graham, I’ve got a relatively cheap one but it cuts up to about 320mm think the blade cost about half what the saw cost lol

Bit of fiddleing about to get it to cut a true 45 degree angle over a longer length but once set up no problems at all.

Martin, I have had issues in past with finding the real 45 degree angle on the larger hop saws, but as as you say once set up, I have made a template 45 degree set square, but it can drift on occasions.
