Lee I always found Portland Lighting to be pretty good, don’t know if they are the cheapest but good quality products and look good.
Sorry don’t have a number, you could also try Universal for a price. -
I’ve got a supplier (at work) that does them for around £7 a foot. Nothing fancy – actually, they are quite slimline.
Will post details later.

Forgot to say it needs to be red
i need to price for it with a sign tray so would look best if they are the same colour.Lee

I would not do the light in a colour, black or white, fine but when lit, the colour of the trough will not be seen.
and in daylight, the light needs to be as un-noticable as possible,

Customers have asked for a red light, Maybe i can change their minds, if i don’t get it from the same people the tray will be different.Lee

Try Portland lighting – 019227 21133 … Just make sure the sign try and trough light are powder coated to same RAL codeCheers

Lee, go the red route, IMHO it will look much neater in the same colour.
Portland are good but try these – very similar high quality and good service at a fair price. My first choice nowadays.

if you have a red light at night, shining on a coloured sign, the sign will look rather unusual and you are not projecting a full spectrum of light, something to bare in mind when designing it.

Red light shining??
Only the extrusion would be red I’m sure!!
