Hi, i have been contacted by Trotec laser regarding attending one of their roadshows in September… I’m in the east mids so its whether or not i go to manchester or birmingham to have a look at the machines… but there are quite a few around the UK

Did anybody on here go to their bristol event a few weeks ago? was it worth going

Depends whether you want to get into laser engraving. In South Africa , Trotec is the most expensive of all lasers, very nice machine BUT these days you can import a VERY GOOD chinese machine with more power and a bigger work area at about 1/5th of the price.
Some other "mainstream" makes are as good as trotec at a lot cheaper too. Epilog , ULS, GCC etc..
But go to the roadshow , see what lasers can do for your business if you don’t have one , the best thing we ever did was get into lasering , I now have 8 lasers running 7-8 hrs a day….
Look at my website to get some indication of what you can do – have a look at the acrylic awards etc.

You are not that from from our showroom here in Tamworth, Staffs. We supply the GCC LaserPro range of lasers, all you got to do is arrange a date to visit us.

    Regards

thanks… i’ve looked at you site and its quite interesting… I have a chinese laser at the moment and I’ve seen epilog and trotec at a show this year and I have to say the chinese lasers are cheaper and on the surface seem to be just as good but they aren’t… my tubes don’t last long and the service/backup is inadequate… it was alright as my first machine but i wouldn’t buy one again.

Like most things you pay for what you get,

I seem to remember from the show Epilog and Trotec machines were about the same price … maybe its different where you are but not in UK…
