  • Triangle Ink Suppliers in the UK or Ireland?

Posted by NeilFox on 8 December 2006 at 18:50

I have a VersaCamm SP 540 V currently using the Roland MAX inks.

I would like to convert to a bulk system with Mild Solvent inks and was looking at Triangle’s offering.

Is there a distributor of the Triangle Bulk systems and ink supplier in the UK or Ireland as I am located in Dublin.

    Thanks in advance.

We’re using triangle inks and they are really great, don’t know of any supplier in UK tho. The are 95euro per liter in Poland, the bulki ink system was around 900euro.

    Nigel,
    Thanks for the response.

Do you also sell the bulk feed systems for the VersaCamm SP 540 V?

Would it be possible to email me your price list etc.

Can you let me know how best to contact you so I can let you have my email address.

We switched to triangle from Grafityp about 5 months ago, we have had no issues yet
We were paying nearly double from ITL, and are currently saving ourself a fortune

Well how come you dont promote it Nigel.. just been on your site and the webpages dont appear to be linking…
Triangle are well respected within the american JV3 market… so thats why I am keen.. so if you sell the ink, will you sell JV3 heads as thats how the american market works, its all DIY

    Dave

What is it thats not linking please (thats my department). You’re right, the inks aren’t on there yet (apart from an advert when you click on ICC profiles) but will be soooon, I’m working on the site at the moment but they are promoted in our magazine. I’m sure Nigel will answer your question regarding the print heads tomorrow.

ok.. if you go to the popout menu… try and click Triangle inks or bulk inks, nothing happens.

If you can tie up a way of getting Epson 10000/JV3 heads then I think bulk inks would be more popular… one of the other competitors on this site has given warantys with regards using other inks and if graphtyp offer similar deal then it would be worth considering triangle inks. The Hybrid contracts a few years back outlawed bulk inks so I am keen to find a switched on company who would be prepared to sell ink to JV3 users (or JV3’s sold by them) and really give a good deal like what happens in america, where you can buy parts like consumables.

If you want anymore info let me know

    Hope this helps,
    Kate 😉

No these are the US Triangle Inks.

One of the sign boards I check out often has provided a wealth of info and many of the guys there have the Triangle MLD Inks on VersaCamm’s and Mimaki JS3’s.

I have a VersaCamm and I would like to go that extra stage further by converting to the Mild Solvent Inks for a couple of reasons,

    1) Cost, Roland cartridges are pretty steep when you consider to costs associated with the bulk systems.

    2) The MLD inks are have a greater abrasion tolerance than the MAX inks, which are good in their own right. I checked out some prints using the Triangle MLD inks while in the US recently.

We use triangle inks on our large format solvent printer. The UK supplier is Backbone Digital in Nottingham on 01623554068. They do bulk feed on the Rolands and smaller machines. Good company well recommended..

I have had a few contacts and I will give Backbone a call shortly.

    Thanks again for the help.
