translucent or 751
Can anyone tell me what the difference would be lettering the outside of windows between translucent vinyl and a cast film.
The inside will be flood coated with etched or dusted (the customer is making up there mind on that one).
Will the effect differ greatly.
I tend to use 751 for just about everything I can (not banners) just to cut down storage space, but if I thought the translucent would be alot better I would get it in.
Its mostly a red circle logo with black letters surrounding.

Unless you have a light shining direct onto window from inside but this will be diffused by the frosting.Only difference is translucent has a sort of matt/silk finish,
what sort of effect are you after, or think might be achieved with translucent James?

Its for an interior designers Martin.
So she will have a good eye and It just occurred to me that it might make a noticeable difference, just as readable from the outside but softer from the inside with the day light coming through
Wont be any strong lights on them directly from either direction.

Ah, see where your coming from James.
Just done a test on my window and the translucent does give a softer
finish, so may well be the way to go.Try it if you have a piece.

Dont have a piece to try for myself Martin but cheers.
I will ask her if she wants to see the diff, and i will get some for her just to make things more complicated.
She’s up to high doe moving premises, was with her for 20 mins the other day and she had 3 cups of coffee, (thought she was gonna run up the curtains before I left).
