I’ve always wanted to be able to do things like that, takes a lot of tallent which I don’t have I’m afraid to admit.

So what happened to the “n” Nik?

    Nearly missed this Nik
    Its brilliant tell Ed
and with a number 00 brush I believe

Did Ed do this a little larger than the actual greeting card or did he have to contain his work within the parameters of an average sized card?

And does he use ordinary nibs on occasion?

Just been out today on my tressles using a number 7 chisel sable

Ed says thanks everyone for your kind comments 😀

martin…..ed cannot remember what happened to it 🙄
john, ed says he used a shaved 00 brush, no pens….the finest strokes are the width of the brush, all done actuall size, which still freaks me out when i see his stuff close up 😮

    peter it’s (fandabydossie) :lol1:

There’s nothing on a 00 brush to shave!!!!!
    Amazing stuff

Last time I used a 00 was when I did some honours boards about five years ago
Painstaking work doing 20mm high trajan
    Much easier doing larger letters

yes carrie…he’s the best male handwriter i have seen (i always asumed females would be best) 😮

everyone in the family phones ed when they need an invitation of some sort!! 😀 he does not do it for the trade anymore….which is sad!! 😀

    I know how Ed feels
I get the same requests when someone wants there name in a book or invitations
I get Wedding Albums to do too (the bit in the front where it has the bride and bridegroom and a thousand other lines)
