Thanks for the update, keep the pictures coming. I’m curious to see how fantastic the finished crest will look.

Really smart Nobby 😀 Is this the one you’re going to apply gold leaf to?

I have to ask this, but it looks like you’ve photographed the crest on a bed 😮 Now I know you’re dedicated to your work, but you’re not sleeping with the crest are you? 😉

    Cheers, Dewi

    Hi Dewi,

Great observation mate!! :lol1: The crest is up in my attic room on the sofa bed at home as I felt I could do it when I wanted that way, the odd hour at midnight…….Ok maybe not that late!! Nine o’ clock maybe. I am going to TRY and apply gold leaf to it…..been a long time since the last one I did!
All this creativity sometimes leaves me very tired Dewi, also have a secret bottle of single malt tucked away too!! 😉

No problem, to be honest stickers are an area we no longer deal with unless it is very very small runs …… too much hassle ….. signs are our main area and thats how I like it …. the customer was a pain in the a$$.

    😀

Working next to a bed with a secret stash of booze, and using a paint brush! I want your job!!!!! 😮 😮 Wanna do swappsies on a diddy blue shop with a building site across the road and a bookies next door, its really nice, honest! 🙄

Let us know how the gold leafing goes, and the crest as well, its a fascinating project and its cool to be able to see a true craftsman at work!

    Cheers, Dewi

    Nobby, you jammy git!

I love Weymouth. My auntie used to have a B&B there so I spent a lot of time down there until recently. I’ve probably walked past your house a few times on one of my many explorations of the town. I take it that’s the main harbour with Brewer’s Quay on the right. Good chipshop down there on the right!
