Trade suppliers who DO want your work
Hi All
Hugh’s got a thread running on trade suppliers not wanting your work (slow or no response) so I thought I’d start one naming some GOOD suppliers who do want our work.
I’m always very pleased with Applelec, always timely in responding to enquiries and quotes, helpful and knowledgeable staff (especially Dave Moore), and always top notch products delivered on-time (despite most of the jobs being last minute). I’ve always had good service from Metamark (Tim Dawsons a nice chap), APS, Robert Horne, Blackburns, Ashby etc. The odd hiccup from someone on an occassion but we place lots of orders so the % of hiccups is very low and they get sorted straight away.
In fact I don’t have a supplier I’m unhappy with!! Apologies but can’t list ’em all.
Well done to the good suppliers!!

Hi Dave,
Funnily enough, I’d normally agree but neither applelec or ashby bothered to respond to my email. There was at least one more too, can’t remember names off hand.
Of the four or five I sent out, only ‘the sign group’ returned my email. I can’t believe none of the others received!
The sign group have been very helpful too.

Yes, Graeme at the sign group is a life saver 😉 The only others with flawless record to date are Amari, PDL, Hexis and APA- all the rest have few hickups too many to make the list, but still get used if needed. Although if someone does not bother replying at all they’re toast.
