    Hi guys

Can anybody supply me with an ai file for this?

It would help as I cannot get to the car to measure it as all I really need is the back window (and for some reason the people driving past in Verso’s seem to speed up when I try wave them down :lol1: only joking)

    Thanks

I would advise you to buy Vehicle Outlines DVD from Impact Graphics as it is the best available, in my opinion. Although everyone is very helpful here, people will be reluctant to provide free of charge, a product which someone makes a living from producing and selling.

    Hi John/Dawn

I agree with you mate and I am going to purchase it as soon as I am up and running, the Fiat and Toyota are my mine and my wifes bosses car that I am using to practice on.

All I actually need is the rear window of the Verso as she only will let me apply to the glass so don’t mind if that’s all I get.

Like I said I am planning on buying the Impact library but need to launch the business first and get some cash flow.

    Thanks

Warren, why not just measure the window, because of the curvature, and the black margins on the glass the outlines are not always that accurate. as for your car you have a good picture, so just scale it up.

    Hi Peter

I got one for my car now from somebody on the boards.

The window is too far to go to measure it as it is also a freebie job for practice for my wifes boss, I keep looking around where I live for a Verso I can quickly measure off but sods law there are none to be seen. 🙁

It’s not serious, I will eventually get my wife to do it when she goes in to the office.

    Thanks anyway

    hi warren
see your site is up and running now
your not to far from me I’m in croydon

any way this is easy to do if you need a size and don’t have an outline do as i did and search on the web for an image of the var you need then size up as ness
in this case its very easy size the photo to the correct size of the number plate and your other dimensions will be about right

if you needed to size up a side view use the wheels and size to 14,15 ,16 inch rims which ever the car has
    hope this helps

    Hi Richard

Thanks for that tip, I suppose I should have thought of that as that is what I did with the Fiat 😳

Yeah, not too far from you, I will try not trample your feet mate 😀 😎

Do you do digital printing? I am going to need a local supplier (!)

    Cheers

only prob with wheels rich, is that the rim is not measured from the visible edges of the wheel, it’s measured from the inside of the lip where the bead of the tyre sits, so it’s prob better to use something else if ya need it accurate, or allow about 20mm to the over-all wheel size.
