The Window Film Company provides a range of privacy solutions, with printed Frostbrite film an increasingly popular choice. This was the option selected by a North London school, with a privacy film featuring full colour graphics printed and installed at the entrance to the premises. Frostbrite frosted film from The Window Film Company is popular for a number of reasons. Its primary purpose is to deliver privacy, and this is achieved by giving glass the appearance of sand blasted or acid-etched glazing once applied. This prevents vision from both sides of the glass, whilst also delivering a stylish and contemporary finish. In addition to the aesthetic qualities of the film, it also provides an excellent surface on which to print.

Printing onto frosted film opens up a host of possibilities, making it a professional looking and eye-catching way of adding graphics, illustrations or other details to glazing. The film is also tough and durable, making it suitable for usage in high traffic areas.

The Window Film Company were approached to deliver a bespoke privacy solution for a North London based school, and after providing demonstrations of what could be achieved, Frostbrite frosted film was chosen as the most suitable material. The brief was twofold; to block vision from both sides of the glass, whilst also creating an attractive, branded feature.

The artwork, featuring a striking photograph and the school logo was supplied to The Window Film Company’s in-house graphics and design team who created detailed proofs of each of the windows. With approval granted, work began on printing the panels, the use of a UV printer ensuring a sharp, crisp finish. The printed Frostbrite film was installed by one of The Window Film Company’s teams of fully qualified installation teams, with the work carried out during a pre-determined window of time, chosen to ensure the minimum of disruption to what is a busy school. The printed graphics instantly transformed the appearance of the glass, creating a stylish, welcoming and professional looking finish – a pleasing sight for visitors, pupils and staff alike.
