I saw the first clip in the highlights, my reaction as i left the sofa with hands on head shot my daughter off my lap and halfway across the room!!! I have no idea how he saved that, amazing.
have seen the second one a few times too, amazing to survive a … what, 140-160mph crash?

TT stuff is absolutely mad, I really don’t know how anyone can stay on the bike at those speeds.
The weekend’s Lemans 24 had a couple of spectacular crashes and it just goes to show how strong these Audi sportscars are. Both drivers unhurt (apart from a little bruising) and also the photographers and spectators were ok.

I have no sympathy for these road hogs on bikes who think they own the highway. Why do they always insist on riding two or three abreast, and why do they have to dress up so ridiculously. If I’d been the driver trying to get past I would have probably side swiped them too 😕
And they don’t pay any road tax!

That particular Alan Partridge series was one of the funniest programmes to hit our TV screens. I remember me and the Mrs used to sit there crying…It was so well written you didn’t know whether the interviews he did were for real or not. Have got them on video but worth buying again on DVD.

edit: found this online, she was very lucky that he survived! Ridiculous sentence considering the evidence.
The elderly gentleman survived and had cuts under chin and was badly bruised, her excuse was she was late for work. No news reports were made, and she got away lightly with a 2 year suspended, 200 hours community service, 2 year ban and had to pay the victim £500 compensation -
