  • Text bevel in Photoprint/Flexisign

    Hi,

I am looking for some help/pointers.

I am used to working with vectors and have very limited knowledge of bitmaps, so please be gentle with me.

I am redoing my own logo and want to bevel some of the text using Photoprint/Flexisign.

I followed the method on Mark Rugens youtube video……..convert to bitmap then use the Ailienskin bevel plugin….I get exactly what I am looking for but the beveled text has a white box around it which I don’t want.
I have tried everything I can think of to remove it.

Can anyone offer a some pointers on how to remove the white rectangle?

My apologies if the answer is something ridiculously simple.

    Thanks

    John

Flexi is not the best software to use for that really. I would only do that in Photoshop or a dedicated bitmap program.

Chris….managed to find " make background transparent"…many thanks.

Jon….I know Photoshop is the program that is best suited for this but as I said bitmaps are not something I am good with.

    Thanks

use your original vector to mask the image, i actually inline the vector slightly and use that it tidies up the edges
