Technical Artworker / Draughtsman / Sign and Graphic Designer
Location: Burgess Hill, West Sussex
We are a specialist graphics company that have grown extensively in recent years. We are looking for a motivated individual with experience in sign and graphic artwork design through to production and manufacture of finished product to fit in with our enthusiastic team.
The role involves both the creation of visual proposals for clients and accurate technical drawings for our manufacturing / production department to work from, so a keen eye for detail is essential.
You will be organised, flexible and have a can-do attitude to consistently delivering the highest quality standards at all times.
Using a range of vector graphics software you must be able to prepare CAD / mechanical 2D drawings and maintain design data through accurate version control – this data in turn feeds our specialist printing and flatbed cutting equipment.
We currently use CorelDRAW!, Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator as well as AutoCAD but are looking for someone to help standardise and develop this function in the business and help take us to the next stage.
Our ideal candidate will have an engineering or sign making background, a good technical mind, excellent communication skills and drive with the ability to work well under pressure adapting to new tasks quickly.
