Anyone have experience of MX Flush and it’s effectiveness?

I use it and it’s very good with the inks I use (colorific elite) not sure if it would suit all solvent inks, what ink are you using? Also how are you going to be using it? I use it as a cleaner with swabs only.

I’ve got a couple of Epson DX5 printheads that have become blocked with Direct to Garment water based pigment inks. I was about to bin them and just thought I’d try with MX Flush as I’d tried most other fluids! I soaked a piece of kitchen towel and just sat the printhead on the wet towel. 8 hours later, I was able to push fluid through the printhead so something was working!

I’ve got two bottles of MX Flush and went to the Tech Eight site to look at the spec, but the website URL is dead!

Try that number I posted its for selectech who were part of igs the same as tech8 they have it i get mine there.

Hey John,

Yeah they are still trading buddy under the colorific name now, but they still do sell the MX Flush by telephone I ordered some 2 weeks ago for £20+vat per 500ml, this stuff if by far the most effective stuff I’ve ever used on all the solvent machines I’ve had.
