To do them properly you will need a high frequency welder, so the simple answer is no. I get mine from a co called Sovereign, in Caerphilly I think they are.

Thanks Mike, do you know what the setup costs would be for producing these??

Always interested in different technologies, can anyone recommend a manufacturer of the equipment to produce personalised tax discs??

No idea sorry, but I would think unless you had shed loads of work the costs would be to high.

screenprinting also an option, or if just a small run then a circular dig print or vinyl cut letters with banner vinyl an option. tax disc holder blanks are cheap as chips, cant remember the name of the supplier but if your still stuck let me know and i’ll find out.

    Jason,

    Get Googling.

It’s a very cut-throat and competitive market. There are folks out there with highly expensive whizzbang machinery who can produce these things at a fraction of the price the likes of us can manage.

Steer clear. Unless you think you can generate the volume of business to justify buying the right kit.

have to agree with john, not worth the bother…tried to do the same years ago and manufacture them in house, crazy money….oh and blackpool is the cheapest place to buy them 😀

Thanks for the replies, I’ve had a look around and came to the same conclusion, I’ve passed this job on now, but thank you for the input.
    Regards
