tbh. most of the images we use are taken with a good quality digital SLR camera. Most of the food places we work with are happy to take snaps and get them lit right.

i already have the ingram one, its very good but as you know, when you really need something in particular its not on it.
we even bought a box set from KODAK 50 disks with high rez and low rez images on them. still you find yourself restricted :lol1:
realistically thought getting chippie, pizza and curry shop stuff is best way to go… thats what i thought was on impacts though 😕 -

Rob, would be interested in your Kodak set of 50 but i dare not ask how much!

so am i rob… is this way back in the days when Kodak PhotoCD was the only digital photo CDs out there.. cannot trace on Tinternet

Nick, I think the Corel ones will be too small?
I have just finished a menu board today, using shots from Istockphoto.com. It takes a bit of a search some times, but there are some good images there..
-
Your probably right Shane and yes Istockphoto.com is good but as you say you can spend a lot of time looking 😮
-
i’d go with http://www.istockphoto.com/index.php and search hard…
however i dont ever recall getting a burger from a chippy that looked anything like the photo on the menu…. 😮
might be worth getting some foam to make a bun and some 4mm corriboard for the burger, various vinly scraps for dressing/salad 😀
probably be closer to what gets served at 4am after a good booze up -
I started here http://www.istockphoto.com/file_search. … iletypeID= then refined it as I needed more images
-
Finally got back to work today 🙁
Found my disc but the images on it are huge.
Gat the disc from http://www.ingram-publishing.co.uk if this is of any help.
It’s got burgers, fish and chips, chinese, indian, kebabs, pizzas etc.
Well worth the investment.

As stated above i still think impacts is far better! also a better catalog as well.
