take up roll supplier grenadier 545ex
Hi Guys, anyone know where I can get a takeup roll for my beast? its a grenadier 54 inch.
I have the system there I just need the roll to hold the media
Any help would be appreciated (I did the search on here couldnt find anything)

on mine its just a cardboard tube ?? or talking about the wrong bit

Doh….. I knew it would be bloody simple, I thought there was a special part. Well I don’t have an empty one yet, guess I will have to wait, shouldn’t be long tho at the rate banners are going out at the moment. This beast is an absolute work horse, I love it! Good buy I would say

we have one of those machines too mate. must be 8 years now we have had it… great machine. just keeps going. i run bio colorific inks through ours.
like chris says, you just use a spent vinyl roll for the core.

we just taped vinyl tubes together.
attached scrap banner to the roll, then tape the other end to the vinyl or banner that you are printing.
just saves the odd metre of material.

Nice one denise… have loads of 30 inch rolls hanging around, I feel a mod coming on….
