Take handles out or not?
Hi!
Got an issue with taking Ford Galexy door handles out to do full wrap? In the past we usually just try to remove them and if we can’t, we can’t! Ive suggested a Ford mechanic comes to show us as there’s a fair few to do!
Has anyone had experience with this suggestion to a customer?

i don’t know how they look/are on this vehicle but i tend to keep handles on. its no big deal, just make sure you make the right sequence in cuts to be able to mould the vinyl into the necessary parts.
even if you can slacken the handle. it allows you to over trim the vinyl and tuck the little flap left behind the handle.hope that makes sense>?

HI Rob! Totally makes sense…
but to loosen the handle you’ve got to take the door card out and disable the central locking! On a Transit, Sprinter, LDV no probs but on an MPV just a bit worried as we all no, bits break if not done correctly and I like my liabilty insurence premiums!!
