Can anyone point me in the right deirection please? I believe using wax based foils with my gerber edge i can print onto special paper that will heat press onto dark textiles using a heat press . Can anyone tell me what the results are like? I only ever use garment vinyls up to now and dont want to spend out loads on different foils and transfer material if the results are poor. I keep getting asked for the odd full colour design and at the moment i cant supply them!

    Best rgds

    hi dave
not sure about the edge mate, but i used to print onto the garment vinyl, contour cut it and heat press it on. works perfect…
maybe its best you call Xpress and ask about it, im sure thats who i bought ours from.

    you don`t need special foils.

I bought tee shirt vinyl from Grapityp

A little thick, but works fine.

Got a print on a sweat I wear, gets loads of stick, then just chucked in the washer.

    Still looking good.

i “think” i was told the wax ribbons were the ones to use, but i used my normal ones from printone.
i also “think” the wax ribbons were cheaper to buy? 🙄
