    I am looking to buy a single colour print set up, can anyone reccomend a supplier for the equipment, inks, & chemicals etc. some people say to use plastisol ink, some say to use water based inks,apparantly i wont need a curer/dryer with water based inks.never printed t shirts before so not too sure. any advice greatly apprecciated.

    plastisol ink is the one to go for. Much more user friendley.

    apart from the carousel/print bed.

    you`ll need.

    screens
    inks
    dryer( convayer or spot, or both)
    squeegees
    screen cleaner
    emulsion, to create the screens.
    film to make the art work.
    light box to burn the screens.
    wash out booth
    spray adhesive to hold the tees in place when printing.
    + a few other bits and pieces to make your life easier.

    best get a copy of printwear & promotion mag, theres loads of traders advertised in there.

    for inks I use sericol

    for equipment theres loads of choice. have a look on e-bay.

    get the book ” printing tee shirts for fun & profit” . great book, loads of info.

    + a very large room to fit it all in.
