    I have a customer who has asked if there are symbols to replace text over switches on panels. Where words such as On-Off-Reset etc. are replaced using a graphical symbol. The purpose being that they export machines and have to have the panels printed in different languages.
    He wants to know if there are a set of recognised symbols to make life easier.
    Anyone know if these exist?

    Ingram Publishing (01270 528696) have a book and CD which includes electronic symbols, however apart from the usual on/off symbols there is precious little that relates to electrical equipment.
