    Hello All,

I run a small Wall art business, and have mainly worked with self-adhesive block vinyls. I’m now expanding my business and I’m offering Canvas Prints, and also Digital self-adhesive signs and stickers.

Can somebody please recommend a good supplier of Canvas Media and recommened a good quality canvas paper without being too expensive?

Also, the same for the Digital self-adhesive vinyl. Must be removable and preferably Matt. The only one suggusted has been the Ri-Jet 100 – but I believe this isn’t the best quality.

    Many thanks

    Hi Alison,

The best canvas that I have used is Metamark’s. Good print quality and good for stretching too..

I’ve used LCAN but it cracked like hell when stretching.

Give Metamark a call, they’ll gladly send you a good size sample to do a print test on.

    From Mark

    hi alison

for that type of thing i would suggest Paperlinx or Grafityp.
i know grafityp supply canvas, but not sure with that one with paperlinx.

most of the reputable suppliers will do vinyls and possibly paper too.

    paperlinx

choose from the VTS divisions based on your location.

Do you mind me asking what printer your using?

I’ve been printing canvas for the last 8 years and at one point was printing in excess 300m a day….I like to think I’ve had a love hate relationship with canvas in that time, I’ve tried hundreds of different canvases and found some of the in in branded materials have worked best for us.

Let us know what printer your running I may even have some 24" rolls if suitable for your machine I can pop in the post to you.

    Many Thanks

    James

    Hi James,

I own a Canon IPF 8300, which is lovely for Canvas prints but I’m new to this side of the Industry so not sure which material is best for my printer.

I received some samples this morning from Colourbtye but not sure how their prices compare….
