would be glad to hear from peeps who have used such material.

meant to say I will be digitally printing the mesh

can anyone point me in the right direction re suppliers.

    Hi Graeme,

We use a 1600mm wide Xerox mesh from a local supplier here on our Industrial Estate, the supplier is Graphicad, he only really stocks solvent products for us at the moment, but I’m sure he would be happy to quote you.

    http://www.graphicad.co.uk 01242 269870.

If I was going to hang this across the street, I’d be putting some rope into the hems to give it that extra strength!

    Chris.

just read the following in the banner suppliers catalogue that i have bought from in the past
under the heading road span banners
all local authorities now require banners spanning public space or highways to be supported by the correct (wire) ropes and fittings .Refer to lifting and lifting equipment regulations (LOLER) 😮

    thanks guys,

if there are any others please feel free to post the details.

andrew, does the europoint mesh come with backing/blotting paper to prevent ink seaping through?

europoint are who i always get my stuff from as service and price is great, they seemed very high for this mesh vs some other prices, although I cant confirm how europoints stuff compares in terms of quality, dont want to post prices etc as am sure its against rule, basically what I was quoted for 25m with EP was the same price for 50m elsewhere (?) maybe the price was wrong tho?

yeah the mesh comes with a backing that you strip away when the banner has printed and cured.

Sorry I dont know the prices 😕
