supplier needed for Solid colour bubble free wrap vinyl?
Posted by Warren Beard on 23 July 2008 at 18:10Hi All
Who supplies the above? I have some private wrapping to do and as I have to work alone and it is an awkward design I wanted to use bubble free just to make it a bit easier.
I’m looking for a bright green (and white but that’s obvious)
cheers
Warren

Avery do a product in colours here called A9 wrap material, and Oracal do colours in Oracal 970 wrap material with air release adhesive.

I think Victory are doing an Arlon product with bubble free adhesive

Just spoke to Europoint and they only do black and white in 970 😕

Really? 😮
I’ve done a van in yellow here, and a motor home in blue. Bit short sighted only having black and white. They are the least popular colours to change a vehicle colour too 😕

Yip, I was even put on hold while they double checked 😕 The old 851 is now 951 but is not bubble free. They call their bubble free "Rapid Air"
Hexis are sending me a swatch for their new range called HexPress so will see what they have there.
cheers

this is our 970 colour range http://www.ags.com.au/store/subcategory … goryID=605
The new 970 has rapid air adhesive, but the original shipment was the old adhesive, but you use the command spray.
We only have 851 cast… never heard of 951 😕

the 851 is the 951, just a name/code change, they could not tell me why only that it was the exact same vinyl 😕 sounds like a waste of effort to change a code.

When the 870 changed to 970, it was because the 970 is printable and the 870 isn’t. The change to 951 from the 851 may indicate the same thing (?)

from my past dealings with them I wouldn’t be surprised if you knew more than they did :lol1: 🙄

Any idea if Avery A9 and Avery 900 are the same product? A9 is available in the US, but not 900.
Would these require an overlaminate for wrapping purposes?
Thanks
