    Hello All,

I have a Summa Cutter (under Gerber P2C 1200S) with OPOS.
When I try to cut, the cutter always starts perfectly inlined by after a while it is totally out of lines.
Vertical lines are almost OK (1 or 2mm diff) but when the head goes horizontal, it begins to be totally out of the cut lines. After a while the difference can go up to 2cm!

To test, I replaced the cutter with the pen tool, and all cut lines was 100% OK.
The vinyl I use is laminated, is it possible the cutter pressure is too strong (even if the backing is intact when cutting) to make the vinyl slip ? I try to cut 3meters in a row.

    I’m totally lost …

    Thanks for your advices,
    Lionel

PS : Oh yes, I tried to contact the support service from the company I bought it and all they can say is "You should buy a new one" …

    Hi
you can get problems when using heavy pressure, use a new knife maybe a 60 degree blade set to the lightest pressure you can that makes the cut. Can you see it moving horizontally under the pinch rollers.
Obviously check all tension rollers are ok no broken parts etc
