Summa D60 what’s it worth

Its a good plotter even second hand I would say £350 to £450 ish

Not sure what its worth in cash except it would be worth considerably more than a new Chinese cutter judging from what I’ve read here.

I’d say Rich is about right. I have 2 D60s the first cost £1500 and is more substantial than the last one which cost £100 so I would say it depends which one it is too.

Shame you ain’t closer though as I’d give you at least a tenner more than Rich has offered :lol1: 😉

That doesn’t surprise me.

We have run some serious amounts of vinyl through cutters and, although I have changed them for other reasons, I have yet to wear one out and have to scrap it. Every single one has been sold on and, as far as I am aware, is still giving good service today.

On my very first cutter we had to have a couple of engineer visits, but that was reasonable because the technology was fairly new, and hadn’t been perfected. But that was twenty years ago and, since then, apart from an occasional cutting strip and a good cleaning, none of our machines have needed an ounce of maintenance or repair.

Alan makes a good point about the relative value of the Summa compared to a new Chinese machine. I couldn’t have put it better myself.
