tried several blades and cant get a clean cut on 10mm text when weeding its lifting.

have had pressures all over the place no different

have slowed everything right down no difference

    any advice welcome.

    cheers

New blade holder? If not even just a clean and a drop of 2in1 oil?

    Cheers

Have you tried playing with the blade offset….would be fairly critical at those sizes.

Is the cutting strip in good condition?

my first thoughts too. if you scratch your fingernail across the strip back to front, it should feel smooth, if any deep ruts that catch your nail then it’s time to replace.

edward mathias would be a good start for the strips.

what blades are you using? as said above, the offset would be critical at that size.

    Hi,

Cutting strip is is in good nick

    blades from Edward Mathias

its a tangential head but have changed lateral compensation

have tried using flexi settings and on machine settings

got a bit better but still not as good as it should be.

    Cheers

blade offset on the mathias blades, if i recall, is .48mm. worth checking.
